Job Description:
Candidates with good language editing, indexing and copy editing skill for STM books & journals

- Responsible for language editing of journal articles/book chapters with high emphasis on quality
- Responsible for checking the critical style aspects of journal articles/book chapters
- Capable of handling high level copyediting including complicated language editing
- Responsible for checking the trainee copy editors' files to ensure quality



Styling STM journals; checking grammar, punctuation and spellings; handling of scientific terms; structuring and styling references; able to do on-line or hard-copy editing

Desired Candidate Profile:
Candidates with atleast 2 yrs of experience as Language editors can apply. Language editors should have sound knowledge in English grammar and vocabulary. Candidates should have ability to handle both US and UK English. Candidates with copy editing experience will be given more preferences.

Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team. Candidates from STM publishing industry would be an added advantage.
