Hi there, this is Mayan820 here. I am new on Codemiles.com and my IT knowledge, in general, is quite shocking, so I always need help. My PC, 32bit, runs XP Home edition and I have an ADSL Broadband Internet connection. I have downloaded the ACM Forex Trading Platform that works with Java. This is all I know . . . this specific platform needs Java to launch. I do not know anything about Java, at all, I just know that the trading platform is working, but in many instances it seems unresponsive. I also find the little hour glass appearing way too often for my liking. On a Forex trading platform this can have disastrous consequences if operations do not literally happen with the click of a mouse. The Java program I have loaded on my PC is Java (TM) 6, update 11. My question is this: Is this unresponsiveness due to to the specific Java program I have, and if it is, is there a better Java program to download . . . or is it due to something else? I am so sorry that I am so IT illiterate. I hope to learn many things from you clever guys.
Respectfully yours,
Mayan Viljoen.
