Chess Game in Java

Hi Friends!
I am new here.....I wanted to make chess game in Java.
But the problem is I am not master in it, I tried to make this game with the help of Internet but can't complete it....That is why I decided to get help from all of you masters....please help me to make this game.....thanx in advance!

Thank you so much for your support.....I have an issue with my existing chess made in java....and the problem is I am unable to create "checkmate" condition....IT is giving check very well and all other rules are working but no Idea about giving checkmate can you help me.....the code is attached with, pls have a look......use AppletViewer......:-
