actually iam still newbie to Java so i cannot answer this question

but Java Programmer differs from other Programmers in many features the most feature is the How to think

Microsoft Programmers usually think as this : " i want to program this , is it available in Microsoft ?"

Java Programmers usually think as this : " O.K i will do it , where where umm , i will search for it and i will program it "

look at our selves we only use Java Core Packages (JDK) and we usually build our enterprise programs from many sources (e.g. Apache , IBM , Oracle ) ...

Java Language its not a syntax only its idea , look for the partners in JSR

Oracle has 100 JSR in Java , what is that mean ?

IBM the competitor of Microsoft Almost all Program in IBM build in Java , what is that mean ?

the big market for Java is in the Server Side programming , you may face people who hate Java because he didn't understand the Java idea and say :" hey man c++ /c faster than Java in hundred times" but he didn't know the benefit of Java , as JDK1.6 performance improving , compare JDK1.2 with JDK1.6 its a huge different between them in performance and in API improvement ...
